Cade Gustason

On August 17th, 2022 Cade Gustason joined his mother, father, grandparents, 1 aunt & 2 uncles in heaven unexpectedly in Cheyenne Wells.
He was born on October 15, 1989 alongside his twin sister Christine in Goodland, Kansas to his late mother Tyera Pears and his late father James Gustason.
Soon after graduating high school in Cheyenne Wells Cade continued working for the lumber yard in Cheyenne Wells Colorado for a few years. This is where a lot of people got to meet the loving, caring, funny jokester he sure was. From his helping hand to his smartass comments, Cade was a jack of all trades from working in construction, helping on the farm, delivering parts, working on the oil rigs with our Dad to spending many years working for Wendt & Sons in North Dakota as a hot oiler/frac operator. After his job in North Dakota Cade helped out at the motel for a while with maintenance and housekeeping. Those are just a few of the things he did. He had a helping hand for most anyone. If you needed it, he was there to help where he could.
Cade was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Heck if you needed his pants, he would give you those too. Cade has continued his given even after passing by being an organ doner and giving sight to at least 2 people. When it came to the kiddos he never said no, no matter what their parents said because he always wanted to be the cool uncle. Cado was definitely the one to talk smack with the best of us but, his giggle & laugh were infectious & from the bottom of his heart. If he wasn’t making stupid jokes or comments you could catch him pulling harmless pranks on anyone of his friends or family. His smile & laugh were contagious. Anytime he would walk into a room he would light it up. If you were in a bad mood, sad or just not having a good day he always knew how to make you smile. Whether it was from his orneriness to him messing with you he would make you smile at least once. Most of you know him for his own unique personality. He could crack jokes about anything or anyone. To know him was to love him. Unfortunately, he leaves behind a multitude of people that will never forget him for he was taken way to soon.
His family meant the world to him. Especially his many nieces and nephews. He would drop everything to listen to his nieces and nephews or to play a game with them. Anything to see them laugh and smile. He had a strong sense of family and a phenomenal connection with the ones he loved the most. Cades sister Christine and his two brothers Kody & Kevin can tell you so many examples of his big heart and his unyielding sense of loyalty. Not to mention the countless stories of the many pranks, jokes and not always the brightest ideas he did and came up with.
While Cade is catching up on the lost time with his family in Heaven, he is leaving behind numerous people that loved him. From his twin sister Christine Gustason to his brother Kody Gustason and Kevin Tiller, Aunt Jo, Uncle Ron, his niece Tyera Beck as well as many adopted nieces & nephews & cousins.
Cade will be remembered by his friends & family.  Cado was beyond loved & will forever be missed by many. 
A memorial fund has been set up at the Eastern Colorado Bank & the Bank of Burlington located in Cheyenne Wells, CO. Thank you beyond words for everyone who has already donated & helped our family out so much.
Funeral services were held at the Cheyenne Wells Christian Church on September 10, 2022.  Friends and family can register online condolences and sign the guestbook at www.brownfuneraldirectors.com.  Funeral services were entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home in Cheyenne Wells.
