Wallace County District Court Proceedings

Rene Trevino appeared in Wallace County District Court on October 2, 2019 for sentencing in case number 2019 CR 12.  Trevino had been charged with 1 Count Domestic Battery, a Class B, Person Misdemeanor on September 7, 2019.  He appeared in court with court-appointed attorney Craig Uhrich, Oakley.  Travino plead Guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 6 months in the Wallace County Jail.  He was assessed $158 in court costs and required to pay attorney fees.   This sentence is to run concurrently with the sentence in case number 2019 CR 2, as Trevino was charged with violation of terms of probation in case 2019 CR 2.
Jerry Liby appeared in Wallace County District Court on January 16, 2020 for sentencing in case number 2019 TR 49.  Liby had been charged with 1 Count Driving Under the Influence – 4th or Subsequent, a Nonperson Felony on November 2, 2019.  He appeared in court with court-appointed attorney, Leslie Beims, Goodland. Liby plead Guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 12 months in the Wallace County Jail.  Release was authorized after 90 day served.  Liby had been in custody since the arrest in November, which set his release date to January 31, 2020. Liby was ordered to pay $139 in court costs, $2,500 in fines, and $620 in other fees associated with the case.  
Clinton Martin appeared in Wallace County District Court on January 16, 2020 for sentencing in case number 2019 CR 6.  Martin had been charged with 1 Count Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with Intent to Distribute, a level 3 Nonperson Felony, on April 4, 2019.  The charge carries a presumptive prison sentence of 51-46 month in prison. Martin appeared in court with attorney Justin Barrett, Colby. Martin plead Guilty and was offered probation in a plea agreement.  Martin was ordered to pay $193 in court costs and $320 in other fees associated with the case.
Hilda Estopellan appeared in Wallace County District Court on December 9, 2019 for sentencing in case number 2019 CR 11.  Estopellan had been charged with Count 1 Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone) a level 5 Nonperson Drug Felony and Count 2 Possession of Paraphernalia a class B Nonperson Misdemeanor on June 12, 2019. She appeared in court with Leslie Beims, Goodland. Estopellan plead guilty to Count 2.  Count 1 was dismissed.  She was sentenced to 90 unsupervised probation and ordered to pay a $200 fine,  $158 in court costs, and $500 in other fess associated with the case.
