Commissioners approved minutes - December 16, 2019 Special Meeting

The Wallace County Board of Commissioners met in special session with, Bruce Bolen, Chairman, Ronnie Hill, Commissioner, Val Reiss, Commissioner and County Clerk, Jacalyn Mai present.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am.

Steve Pilger Road Supervisor visited with the commissioner about purchasing a AC recovery System. Steve had a verbal quote for $ 3,800.00 in 2019 or $ 4,200.00 after the first of the year from a company in Colorado. The board asked Steve to check with Sharon Springs Auto Parts to see what their price would be.

A call was placed to Aaron Tilden with Willdan Engineering & Construction Management. Commissioner Reiss had some questions due to him having to leave the previous meeting. The board asked if the local contractor could be used in the project. Aaron stated that any of the companies could use the local contractor. The county could also contact them to submit their RFQ for the project themselves.

The board agreed to have Clerk Mai to add Stateline to the list of business to send the RFQ documentation to.

Steve Pilger reentered the meeting. Sharon Springs Auto Parts could get the AC Recovery unit for $ 4,465.33. Commissioner Reiss moved to purchase the AC Recovery unit from SS Auto Parts for $ 4,465.33.

Commissioner Hill seconded.  AYE  3 NO  0

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:50 am.
