Crystal Lynn (Fulton) Hunter
Crystal Lynn Hunter of Thorton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. Crystal was born on September 12, 1954, in Goodland, Kansas, to Betty and Bud Fulton.
She grew up in Sharon Springs, Kansas, attending Wallace County Grade School and High School. After graduating, Crystal attended Ft. Hays State University obtaining an Associates Degree in Physical Education.
She worked for the Adams County Sheriff"s Department in Brighton, Colorado, and also served for the US Army Reserves in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a marksman. She later met and married Jim Hunter of Niagara Falls, New York. She had one son, Tyler Hunter. At age 29, Crystal was diagnosed with ALS, "Lou Gehrig Disease". She fought and endured this deadly disease for 40 years.
Crystal is survived by her mother Betty Fulton of Thorton, Colorado, sisters Vickie (Fulton) Spring of Neptune, New Jersey, Deborah (Fulton) Mulreany of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michelle (Fulton) Clumsky of Thorton, Colorado, and her son Tyler Hunter of Brighton, Colorado along with several nieces and nephews. Crystal was preceded in death by her father Wesley Fulton, formerly of Sharon Springs, Kansas.
There will be a Celeberation of Life ceremony held from 11am to 3pm on June 22nd at 12547 Dexter Way, Thorton, CO 80241.
