Trent C. Karnes
On September 9, 2020, Trent C. Karnes, loving son of Don & Julia Karnes passed away at the age of 41. Trent was born on March 28, 1979 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He went to high school in Littleton, Colorado and graduated in 1999. He studied sociology at Red Rocks Community College, and loved working for the Hampton Inn Hotel chain as a maintenance supervisor.
Trent had a passion for music, his guitar, fishing and the outdoors and was also an avid snowboarder. He had a talent for the arts, especially his abstract sketching’s. Trent had an infectious smile and a kind and compassionate spirit. His love for his family as abundant.
Trent was preceded in death by his cousin Nic Cox, Grandmother Jane Cox, and Grandfather Fred Cox. He is survived by his mother and father Julia and Don Karnes of Littleton, Colorado, Grandparents Gerald and Charlene Karnes of Salina, Kansas, Grandmother Sharon Cox of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Uncle Jeff Cox of Morrison, Colorado, Uncle Steve and Aunt Becky Karnes of Wamego, Kansas, Aunt Nancy Karnes of Red Deer Canada, Aunt Stephanie Stout of Littleton, and several cousins.
A memorial service will be announced later for the Spring of 2021 and will be held in Weskan, Kansas.
