Roberto “Robert” Martinez, 61, of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, died Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his residence. 
The family will greet visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory in McAlester, Oklahoma. 
A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Stephen Le Flore.  Burial followed at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, Oklahoma. 
Pallbearers were Mitchell Welsh, Jean Le Flore, Donald McJunkins, Hector Martinez, Oscar Zamora, and Jeff Bautista. 
Honorary pallbearers were Joel Kerns, Robert Martinez, Robert Spaulding, John Le Flore, and Jay Le Flore. 
Robert was born to Robert and Guadalupe (Perez) Martinez on January 23, 1961 in Arlington, California. 
He worked as a derrick hand on oil rigs.  
Robert had a constant display of genuine kindness. He was proud of his grandchildren and loved them unconditionally. 
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lupe Martinez, and a sister: Arcelia Martinez. 
Robert is survived by his wife: Dixie Le Flore of the home; daughters: Anna McJunkins and husband, Donald of Edmond, Oklahoma, Audrielle Welsh and husband, Mitchell of Colby, Kansas, Brooklyn Önal and husband, Aziz of Frankfurt, Germany; son: Robert Martinez of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado; grandchildren: Lilianna McJunkins, Emrey Welsh, Barrett Welsh, Abel Welsh, Emmet Welsh; brother: Hector Martinez and wife, Betty of Bellflower, California; sisters: Nancy Zamora and husband, Oscar of Riverside, California, Sylvia Martinez of Garden Grove, California, Cindy Bautista and husband, Jeffery of Yorba Linda, California, Linda Cisneros of Moreno Valley, California; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
