Sharon Springs City Council - May 2024 Special
The Sharon Springs City Council met in special session on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall meeting room.
Agenda item:
1. Bid from McCormick Asphalt Paving-a Division of Bettis Asphalt & Construction, Inc.
Those present were: Mayor Verlan Wagoner, Council Members: Jay Sharp, Dennis Mote, Steve Paul, Tim Elder and City Clerk Angie Van Allen.
The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Wagoner at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Mote moved to approve the proposed bid in the amount of $246,604.63 for milling and overlay for 6th Street, Ericson Street and Gardner Street. Mr. Paul seconded the motion, motion approved.
Mr. Paul moved to approve McCormick to complete an approximate 1200 additional linear feet at the same cost per square yard to lock in the current price. Mr. Sharp seconded the motion, motion approved.
Mr. Elder moved to adjourn at 10:09 a.m., motion was seconded by Mr. Paul.
