The Board of Education of Unified School District 242, Wallace County, Kansas, met in special session, September 5, 2024, at 5:30 am in the board room with President Eric Purvis presiding.
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Purvis called the meeting to order. 
ROLL CALL
Members Present: Mr. Aaron Aldridge, Mr. Gabe Cox, Mr. Nolan Cox, Mr. Eric Purvis, Mr. Kyle Riedel, Mr. Macy Sexson, Mrs. Christine Smith
OTHERS PRESENT: Mr. John Cox (Superintendent), Mrs. Laura Sexson (Asst. Principal), Mrs. Heavenly McQuillan (Clerk), Mr. Steve Karlin (KASB Leadership Field Specialist)
MOMENT OF REFLECTION
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: 
Mr. Gabe Cox (Mr. Nolan Cox) moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 7-0.
NEW ITEM
The board and staff was in a board training with Steve Karlin from KASB.  
ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Nolan Cox (Mr. Gabe Cox) moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:39pm. Motion carried 7-0.
