Commissioner Proceedings 12/2/24

The Wallace County Board of Commissioners met in special session with, Larry Townsend, Chairman, Becky Larson, Commissioner, and Debbie Welsh, Deputy County Clerk present.
Also in attendance, Anthony Garcia, Road Department Supervisor and an applicant for a County Road position.
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Townsend for business at 8:30 a.m.
Chairman Townsend moved to go into executive session at 8:34 am for Personnel exception- NON-ELECTED personnel for 10 mins and return at 8:44 am. Invited in are the 2 commissioners Debbie, Anthony and 1 interviewee. Commissioner Larson seconded.
AYE 2 NAY 0
The Commissioners returned to regular session at 8:44 am. Chairman Townsend made a motion to hire Harlie Hackney for a position at the Road Department. Commissioner Larson seconded.
AYE 2 NAY 0
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:55 am.
